Königs Wusterhausen: official start of test operation
With the official start of the trial operation of the CHP plants installed in the heating central 'Funkerberg' in Königs Wusterhausen, the last project milestone was reached before turning into the final operation. An occasion to celebrate for the heat supply company Königs Wusterhausen GmbH (WKW) and to invite the project partners.
We are very happy about the positive audit report on quality management in our company! Since 2007 we are working according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and are convinced of the effect. The current certificates in German and English can be found in our download area.
The second construction phase of our 'CHP of the month' project in Wernigerode is currently realised. Another imposing CHP type SES-HPC 1000 N has been delivered and set up with great precision. The delivery was accompanied by the regional TV broadcaster RFH. The film is worth seeing!
The combined heat and power plants and all large components arrived at our project site in Königs Wusterhausen. The delivery of the chimney and its precise alignment were once again spectacular.
Together with our customer, the local utility 'Stadtwerke Wernigerode', we won the 'CHP of the month' award in Energie & Management. The new energy central consists of two SES-HPC 1000 N CHP units, which can be seen behind a glass facade.
The facility is exemplary, also because of its exterior design.
In August, an external monitoring of our working processes according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 took place. Once again we could convince with our quality work and met all requirements so that our quality certificate remains valid. We are happy and proud!

The construction of the new Combined Heat and Power Plant for the local utiltiy Wernigerode is making great efforts. During this week, the chimney and two large heat accumulators were delivered by heavy load transport and hoisted precisely to their intended place with a 30 meter high crane.
